Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back after is smoother, brighter & younger looking!

Peels target a full range of skin concerns: blemishes, oily skin, fine lines & wrinkles, dryness & pigmentation. 

Some people are worried about the word "chemical" because it makes the treatment sound painful.

The best way to describe how a peel feels is spicy or warm. There is a handheld fan to use to help with the discomfort as well.

Pre Peel:

Do not exfoliate or do any abrasive treatments for at least 2 weeks prior to your appt (waxing, sugaring, exfoliating scrubs/acids, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, etc).
Its best to arrive with no makeup on.
Please do not use Glycolic Acid for 24 hours before the peel.
Please do not use retinol products for 72 hours before the peel.

Post Peel:

Avoid picking at your skin.

Take a break from heavy make up for 24 hours.

Stay away from chlorine, steam rooms & saunas for 24 hours.

Skip your workout (be active before your peel).

No face sugaring/waxing for 1 week.

Avoid glycolic acid, retinol & lactic acid for 72 hours.

Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.

Use an SPF moisturizer every morning.
