It provides maximum bacterial control against Propionibacterium acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases without causing dryness. The specific extract from cinnamon bark inhibits the action of 5 alpha reductase, including its acne promoting actions in the sebaceous glands, as well as cyclooxygenase-2 (cox-2), a known pro-inflammatory enzyme. One percent of the population is allergic to topical cinnamon extract and will develop redness and stinging following use on approximately the second or third day. How to Use:
