Dermaplaning

Elevate your skincare routine with our Dermaplaning Facial—an all-encompassing treatment for a radiant complexion! We'll begin with a double cleanse to prepare your skin before moving on to the star of this treatment, dermaplaning. Using a medical-grade surgical steel blade, dermaplaning removes the top skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz), leaving your skin feeling unbelievably smooth while allowing products to penetrate deeper for greater benefits. We follow this with gentle extractions, a relaxing massage, a nourishing mask, and carefully selected finishing products to lock in the benefits, leaving you with a reawakened glow.

Dermaplaning benefits:

  • Removes peach fuzz hair

  • Gentle exfoliation

  • Products will be more effective

  • Its completely noninvasive

  • Helps with fine lines & wrinkles

  • Your skin will be brighter & smoother

How Does It Compare to Shaving?

Both remove hair while also exfoliating the skin. The surgical scalpels used in this treatment, however, are significantly sharper than the manual razors used for a routine shave. The dermaplaning process also offers a more aggressive exfoliation that removes more of that top layer of dead skin cells. It relies on a small scalpel that allows the esthetician to navigate small areas and tricky angles on the face.

Will It Cause My Hair to Grow Back Thicker or Darker?

No. There is a common misconception that dermaplaning will cause hair to grow back thicker and darker, but this treatment won’t have this effect. The treatment does not interact with the hair follicles or have any impact on the rate at which the hair on your face grows. After the treatment, your hair will continue growing at the same rate it always has. Genetics are the main determining factor in how fast hair grows.
